Remove the RGW system lid.

Remove the black screw cap from the filter housing turning counter-clockwise.

Carefully turn and pull the filter from the housing.

To clean the filter, rinse under running water until clean. If necessary, soak filter in 50% water and

50% vinegar solution and then rinse with water.
Inspect the Calcium Hypochlorite tablets in chlorinator and replace if necessary.

CAUTION: Be careful not to inhale the chlorine gas when removing the chlorinator lid.
Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly around the bottom of the filter and to the O-ring on the filter

Replace the RGW system lid.

Close the potable bypass valve, if applicable.

Open the grey water bypass valve, if applicable.

Plug in transformer and power cable.

If the filter is damaged and has to be replaced, please use the extra filter which has been supplied
by BRAC Systems.
If there is a tear or hole in the filter the tanks should be cleaned out. We recommend that you pur-
chase replacement filters from your BRAC Systems dealer, so that you always have an extra filter
on hand.
Tip:
Some users have found it convenient to alternate the use of the factory-installed filter and the extra
filter provided at each cleaning procedure.
There are also cartridge filter cleaning devices on the market that are used to clean the filters for hot
tubs and pools. These will work to clean our filters and can be found at most pool supply vendors.
