5.2 AMBIENT PRESSURE CALIBRATION
For a new installation it is required that an ambient pressure calibration is performed before the installation can be
operational. The ambient pressure calibration compensate for differences in ambient pressure found depending on the
location of the installation. In order to perform the calibration, refer to
Figure 28
.

Note!
The calibration must be performed with all silicone hoses disconnected from all Pulse MD’s to assure only
ambient pressure is read. If the calibration is performed when vacuum is present, the Pulse MD will not
function correctly and calibration will need to be performed again.
Calibration can be performed as many times as needed, although normally it is required only when the
device is installed for the first time in that particular location.

Completing the steps in
Figure 28
will bring up a list of the ambient pressure calibration for each device. See
Figure 29
.
At the end of the list you will see a “Write All” button, pressing this button will perform the calibration.
