5.3.12 Replacing the hot surface ignitor
z
Disconnect the boiler from the mains power supply.
z
Disconnect the plug of the hot surface ignitor (fig. 87,
item 1).
z
Disconnect the hot surface ignitor (see fig. 89, item 1).
z
Connect a new hot surface ignitor in reverse order.
5.3.13 Replacing the ionisation electrode

Disconnect the boiler from the mains power supply.
z
Disconnect the plug of the ionisation electrode
(see fig. 90).
z
Remove the ionisation electrode (see fig. 91, item 1).

CAUTION
Be careful, the hot surface ignitor is made of a
fragile material and can be damaged easily.
