The type-specific I/O modules used (for slots, refer to figure on page
214) can be supplied via X4.
Information on the the supply terminal for all available I/O modules
are provided from page 220 in the I/O module-specific sections.
A total of 2 connection options are possible:
1.
Connection of the I/O module supply at X4, or
2.
direct connection of the I/O module supply to separate 24 V
DC
power
supply unit.
If the I/O module is connected to X4 of the timer, the unit's internal
power generator (refer to page 267) as well as an external power
supply unit can be used. For this purpose, only a few jumpers have to
be inserted/removed at X4.
For more information concerning the connections to X4, please refer
to Sect. 7.2.8 starting on page 269.
