  Countdown Timer

Introduction

KeypadLinc INSTEON Countdown Timer is a general purpose, countdown timer with 7 or 8 timer
durations. Like other countdown timers, it will turn the connected lights / circuit off when its timer
expires. However, that’s where the similarity ends. Countdown Timer can also turn other
INSTEON devices off when its timer expires. Still further, when you Link other INSTEON devices
(as a Controller) to Countdown Timer, it will automatically start its countdown timer for the amount
of time you choose.

Operation

1)

Tap the “5 min” button (this will turn your lights on for 5 minutes)

Your lights will turn on and any INSTEON devices controlled by your Countdown Timer will also turn on
5 min. LED will turn on
After 3 minutes the 2 min. LED will turn on and the 5 min. LED will turn off

After 1 minute the “1 minute warning” will turn your lights off then back on, indicating 1 minute left

After 1 more minute your lights will turn off and any INSTEON devices linked to Countdown Timer will also be turned off

2)

To turn lights off at any time, tap the OFF button or the button whose LED is on
