Display
The service life of the backlight is limited to a certain number of operating hours.
After this time has been exceeded, the backlight will produce only 50 % of its
original brightness. This time differs for the used displays:

CMOS battery

Short-time UPS, capacitor pack
The short-time UPS is only integrated in IndraLogic devices and
MLP devices!
The number of charging cycles of the capacitor pack and thus, its service life,
depends on the surrounding air temperature, in which the capacitor pack is
used. Surrounding air temperature is defined as the temperature, in which the
Embedded Terminal and the capacitor pack is situated, e.g. the internal tem‐
perature of the control cabinet or in an operator panel housing.

If you do not know exactly the conditions, Bosch Rexroth recommends you to
exchange the capacitor pack every five years.
4.12
Compatibility Test
All Rexroth controls and drives are developed and tested according to the latest
state-of-the-art of technology.
As it is impossible to follow the continuing development of all materials (e. g.
lubricants in machine tools) which may interact with our controls and drives, it
cannot be completely ruled out that any reactions with the materials used by
Bosch Rexroth might occur.
For this reason, before using the respective material a compatibility test has to
be carried out for new lubricants, cleaning agents etc. and our housings / our
housing materials.
