Maintenance
8.1
General Information
The operator terminals VDP 92.3 are maintenance-free. Some components are
subject to wear and must be replaced.
The degree of protection IP is to be guaranteed during mainte‐
nance!
If the screws were removed due to maintenance, they are now to
be fastened with the respective mounting torques specified in the
following table.

Include the following measures in the maintenance schedule:

The screen is to be cleaned at least once a week using an antistatic fabric
or a cleansing agent containing alcohol.
CAUTION
The surface of the foil as well as the display cover are dissolved by
solvents!
●
No solvents (e.g. dilution) are to be used!
●
No high pressure cleaning equipment are to be used!
●
At least once a year, all plug and terminal connections are to be checked
regarding proper tightness and possible damage. It is to be checked that
cables are not broken or crushed. Damaged parts are to be replaced im‐
mediately.
●
The fan is to be checked at least once a year if existent.
DANGER
Risk of injury by rotating fan impeller!
The fan impeller is not to be touched with the hands or may not come into
contact with other objects.
8.2
LCD Display
A fading backlight causes a progressive deterioration of the LCD display's
readability, so that a backlight exchange is necessary. For further information,
please contact the Bosch Rexroth Service.
