6.2
Profiles Tab
The
Profiles
tab consists of two (2) components: scheduling and exception days. The schedul-
ing section corresponds with the information setup in the
Recording
tab. The default times
are: Weekday Day 8 AM to 6 PM, Weekday Night 6 PM to 8 PM, Weekend Day 8 AM to 6 PM,
and Weekend Night 6 PM to 8 PM.
The
Exception Days
group tab allows the user to define specific days, such as holidays or
special hours of operation, in addition to the regular schedule for recording.
6.2.1
Configuring Scheduling Times
To configure the DVR4C time schedule for recording, do the following:
1.
Click the
Profiles
tab (
Figure 6.3
).

Select the day of the week to begin and end your day (

Reference B). Everything
else is considered the weekend. For example, if the user’s work week is Monday -
Thursday, the DVR4C automatically considers Friday - Sunday the weekend.

Select the time of the day to begin and end your day (

else is considered night time. For example, if the user’s work week starts at 7 AM and
ends at 6 PM, the DVR4C automatically considers 6:01 PM- 6:59 AM as night time.

When finished, click
Apply

Configuring Exception Days
To configure the DVR4C for exception days, do the following:
1.
Click the
Profiles
tab (
Figure 6.3
).
2.
Within the
Exception Days
box, select the appropriate
No. field
(1-30) to input the
exception day information.
3.
Click the
Start Time & Date
(month, date, time: up to 24 hours) input box and enter the
appropriate information.
4.
Click the
Profile
field and select the appropriate profile.
5.
Click the
Duration
field and enter the appropriate information.
6.
Click
Modify
to accept any changes.
7.
Follow steps 2-6 to enter multiple exception days.
8.
When finished, click
Apply
.
