The Exception Days group tab allows the user to define specific days, such as holidays or
special hours of operation, in addition to the regular schedule for recording.
2.2.1 Configuring Scheduling Times
To configure the DVR4C time schedule for recording, do the following:
1.
Press the MENU button on the front panel of the DVR4C unit.
2. Press the right arrow button to select Profiles , then press the Enter button. Use the
down arrow to scroll to Profiles , then use the left and right arrows to begin editing.
3. Select the day of the week to begin and end your day ( Table 2.3 ). Everything else is con-
sidered the weekend. For example, if the user’s work week is Monday - Thursday, the
DVR4C automatically considers Friday - Sunday the weekend.
4. Select the time of the day to begin and end your day ( Table 2.3 ). Everything else is con-
sidered night time. For example, if the user’s work week starts at 7 AM and ends at 6 PM,
the DVR4C automatically considers 6:01 PM - 6:59 AM as night time.
5. To exit, press the ESC button.

2.2.2 Configuring Exception Days
To configure the DVR4C for exception days, do the following (see example below):
1.
Press the MENU button on the front panel of the DVR4C unit.
2. Press the right arrow button to select Profiles , then press the Enter button. Use the
down arrow to scroll to Exception Days .
3. Press the Enter button two times to begin editing the exception day. For each Start Date
& Time , Duration , and Profile fields, use the arrows to scroll up and down. When finished
editing, press the Enter button to accept changes.
4. To exit, press the ESC button.
