Configuring Recording via the DVR4C
To configure the DVR4C for motion detection or continuous recording, do the following:
1.
Press the
MENU
button on the front panel of the DVR4C unit.
2.
Press the right arrow button to select
Recording
, then press the
Enter
button. The OSD
(on-screen display) displays the
Weekday Day
,
Weekday Night
,
Weekend Day
,
Weekend
Night
options (see
Table 2.1
).
3.
For each of the four (4) options:

to edit the following fields:

press the left or right arrow buttons to scroll through the options. Press the

to accept the selection. When finished, press the

button to move to the next field.

Camera Mode

) for each of the four (4) cameras. For example,
for non-stop recording 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, select

Profiles Tab
The
Profiles
tab consists of two (2) components: scheduling and exception days. The
scheduling section corresponds with the information setup in the
Recording
tab. The default
times are: Weekday Day 8 AM to 6 PM, Weekday Night 6 PM to 8 PM, Weekend Day 8 AM to
6 PM, and Weekend Night 6 PM to 8 PM.
