Installing an extension card LBB 6723/00

8.1 Functional description

The Extension card, which must be mounted in the DCU, is needed when more than 8
base stations are used within the DECT6000 system. A DCU equipped with an extension
card enables up to 8 extra base stations to be connected. Only one extension card can be
mounted into a DCU.
