Administrator rights are required for operation!

Start/Stop

When starting Windows NT, the UPS

program is launched automatically.

For interrupting, shutting down or restarting the service (e.g. for new installa-
tion or update), select ”Services” from the ”Control Panel” window (see the
following illustration, left of UPS

Control).

In the Services window of Windows NT, the status of the UPS

Service is

displayed:

UPS

stopped: Status column is empty

UPS

started: Status column displays ”Started”

Start and stop the selected entry UPS

Service with the Start and Stop but-

tons, respectively.
