4.3.6 EAR-1 – Control Panel (CP)
Control Panel (CP) is a device used for manual control of the LX system. It is
installed outside ERR-2 and operated by the cross-keeper. CP presence in LX
system configuration is optional and depends on the specific LX requirements.
Orders set by operator of the Control Panel have higher priority than those sent
from EBILOCK or worked out in PLCs. CP is equipped with:
Mono-stable and bi-stable switches,
LEDs indicating state of the controlled signalling equipment,
Bell
(optional).
Example of orders that can be executed from the Control Panel:
Turn bell off
Engage
LX
Emergency gate machines open
Emergence gate machine blocking in upper position
Engage LX and switch-on barrage signals
Permission for automatic open LX
Test CP LEDs
