STEP 7.
Attach the two (2) Lower Bark Biter Ladder Braces to
the Ladder Section (Ladder Section C) using two (2) 1/4" x 1
3/4" Hex Bolts [
C
] and two (2) 1/4"Wing Nuts [O]
(Fig. 12) on
the dedicated bracket mounting location.
NOTE: This is on the
second ladder section up from the ground.

Next, slide the two (2) lower bark biter tree braces into the
two (2) lower bark biter ladder braces. Adjust the length so
the bark biter teeth are hitting the tree evenly and install the
snap pins to secure (Fig. 11). Then, attach the ratchet strap
to the lower bark biter. This ratchet strap will be labeled
(Ratchet Strap A). Ratchets are attached to the dedicated
contact points on each lower bark biter. (Fig. 13) Carefully
tighten the ratchet strap securely.
