BOGE FOCUS compressor control for piston compressors
P031 After-running time
This parameter is rarely relevant for piston compressors – also see idle oper-
ation. Interval during which the compressor remains at least in the idling phase
after a load run, before it switches to Ready or Off status. This value is nor-
mally set to zero.
P032 Air temperature indication
This parameter is only present for oil-lubricated compressors. If present, mon-
itoring air temperature leads to an interference message with switch-off func-
tion of this parameter value is 0.
Value 1 prevents the above switch-off function and only leads to a warning if
applicable.
P042 Suction pressure (booster pressure)
The meaning of this parameter depends on the set value as of software version
3.1.14:
a) 1 … 21 psi will continue to cause that this parameter is added to the pres-
sure threshold value for venting monitoring.
For the start-up lock function, a system pressure threshold of 19 psi plus
this suction (booster) maximum pressure value is considered.
b) 23.…174 psi as of version 3.1.18:
This parameter sets the minimum required suction (booster) pressure
used to feed the compressor – also see parameter 22 –.
A pressure sensor (4 … 20 mA) with a measuring range of 0 … 232 psi* is
pneumatically connected to the suction pressure line (booster pressure line).
The sensor is electrically alternatively connected to the system pressure sen-
sor. Therefore, this parameterisation does not require any of the functions that
would require the system pressure actual value.
* even when the net pressure sensor has another measuring range!
P044 Message type Oil monitoring
By this parameter it can be declared whether a pending message of the oil fil-
ter monitoring is defined as a warning or as a fault. This adjustment has effects
on the properties of the control. Whereas for a warning only a message is cre-
ated, the compressor is additionally cut off at once as soon as the parameter
is defined as a fault.
For this parameter setting 1 means Fault and setting 0 Warning!
This setting only applies for the oil level monitoring; for oil pressure monitoring,
switch-off as an interference occurs independently of this parameter.
P050 Modbus address
The set value 0...248 indicates the Bus address of the RS485 interface on the
basic module for the communication with an external Bus system – e.g. a mas-
ter control.
For the settings of the integrated base load switch control the value 0 is avail-
able for the master. Additionally connected compressors have to be specified
with the values 2...4.
For other applications the address can be matched with the requirements. All
addresses from 1...248 are possible.
Note!
The address must be unique in the Bus system.
