An Ethernet twisted pair link segment calls for two pairs of wires,
with each pair differentiated by color. Each twisted pair link
segment must have an RJ-45 male connector attached to both ends.
Pins 1 and 2 on the RJ-45 connector are for transmitting data while
pins 3 and 6 are for receiving data. See chart below:
