Turn the key in the case lock
to the position in which it is
parallel with the direction of
travel and remove the key.
Maximum payload and
maximum permissible
speed
Note the maximum permissible
payload and the speed limit for
riding with cases fitted, as stated
on the label inside the case.
Contact your authorised
BMW Motorrad dealer if you
cannot find your combination of
vehicle and cases on the label.
The values for the combination
described here are as follows:

max 10 kg
Secure attachment
with case holder left/right

If a case wobbles or is difficult
to fit, it has to be adapted to the
gap between the top and bottom
holders.
WARNING
Case installation not in com-
pliance with correct proced-
ure.
Impairment of road safety.
Cases may not wobble and
must be secured free from
play. Re-adjust the retainer if
play develops over the course
of time.
