To reduce the distance
Press the button repeatedly until the
desired distance is set.
The selected distance is displayed in the instru‐
ment cluster.
Increasing the distance
Press the button repeatedly until the
desired distance is set.
The selected distance is displayed in the instru‐
ment cluster.
Resuming Cruise Control
If Cruise Control is interrupted, it can be resumed
by calling up the stored speed.
Before calling up the stored speed, make sure
that the difference between the current speed
and the stored speed is not too great. Otherwise,
there may be unintentional braking or accelera‐
tion.
With the system interrupted, press the following
button on the steering wheel:
Without steering and lane control assis‐
tant.
With steering and lane control assistant.
Cruise Control is resumed with the saved values.
The stored speed is deleted and can no longer
be called up in the following instances:

When the system is switched off.
▷
When drive-ready state is switched off.

Safety note
WARNING
The system does not respond to traffic travel‐
ling in front of you, but instead maintains the
stored speed. There is a danger of accidents or
damage to property. Adjust the desired speed
to the traffic conditions and brake if necessary.

A Check Control message is then displayed.
