Turn the key 1 against the di-
rection of travel.
Detach softcase 1 from the
lock 2 in the arrow direction 1 .
Then press softcase 2 from
the retaining lugs 3 in the ar-
row direction 1 .
Maximum load and
maximum speed
with case carrier, left/right OE
with case OA
Observe maximum load and max-
imum speed.
Maximum speed for rid-
ing with case
max 112 mph (max 180 km/h)
Payload per case
max 11 lbs (max 5 kg)
Topcase
Opening the topcase
with topcase OA
with luggage rack OA
Turn the 1 key counterclock-
wise in the topcase lock to the
OPEN
position.
Press the lock cylinder 1 to the
front.
The release lever
2 pops up.
