ELEMENT
ELEMENT (1 ON, 2 ON, 1+2 ON)
A QS300 voice is made up of 1 or 2 elements that are based on any
one of 205 different wave form (e.g. Piano or Violin). In the voice
element sub menus you can build on these basic elements by assigning
various pitch shift options, trigger sensitivity, envelope curves, as
well as totally independent filters, pitch- EGs, tunings, LFO settings.
This flexibility allows creation of extremely complex voices that can
be structured to change with the various dynamic levels of your playing
style. This parameter allows you to independently turn on or off each
of the 2 elements. You will use one element for most of your voices.

VEL CURVE
(NORMAL, HARD1, HARD2, SOFT1, SOFT2, CROSS1, CROSS2)
You can set how sensitive the element will be to the dynamic
differences in your playing. Depending upon whether your playing
style is hard or soft, the sound can be set to react accordingly. Using
the CROSS curves allows for velocity crossfading. In other words,
your playing dynamic can be used to control volume shifts between
your two elements. To do this, set one element to CROSS1 and the
other one to CROSS2.
