Recording traffic information
Whilst the unit is switched on, traffic information is recorded automatically if a
traffic information station is received.
If TIM is activated, traffic information will be recorded whilst the unit is switched
off. You can choose whether you want traffic information to be recorded for 2 or
24 hours.
If you are listening to a station that does not broadcast traffic information and
you switch the unit off whilst the TIM function is turned on, the unit will automat-
ically search for a traffic information station.
Switching TIM on / off, changing the recording standby time
When the car radio is switched on, you can turn the TIM function on / off as
follows.

Keep pressing the softkey associated with the
TIM
menu item until the
required option

(for 2 hours recording standby),
24H
(for 24 hours
recording standby) or
OFF
appears.
Note: You can also switch TIM off by keeping the T button

pressed
for longer than two seconds whilst the traffic menu is being dis-
played.
If TIM is switched on, the traffic information provided by a tuned traffic informa-
tion station will be recorded after the unit is switched off.
TIP: You can also set the TIM recording standby mode when you switch
the unit off.

When you switch the unit off,
GOODBYE
appears in the display together
with the options for setting TIM standby.
