Dolby Digital
The digital multi-channel technology Dolby Digital operates with
up to 6 channels, thereby offering a true impression of spatial
depth and close reality. This is ensured by separate channels for
the left, the right and the center speaker in the front of the vehicle
as well as two full-range surround speakers in the rear of the
vehicle and a subwoofer.
Downmix
The downmix function allows you to create a stereo signal from a
Dolby Prologic signal.
DVD video
DVD video is a software standard specifically defined for video
signals by the DVD forum. An application layer is required in
addition to the DVD which specifies standards such as playback
speed, forward/reverse, interactivity, up to 8 sound tracks with
up to 8 channels or change of camera perspective.
ID3 tag
Identification in an MP3 file that may contain the following data:

Name of track

Name of artist
-
Name of volume on which the title was released

Year of release
-
Music type
-
Comments
This information can be stored in the MP3 file via the PC.
MP3
MP3 is a process developed by the Fraunhofer Institute for com-
pressing CD audio data. Compression allows data to be reduced
to around 10% of their original size without a noticeable loss in
quality (at a bit rate of 128 kbit/s). If a lower bit rate is used to
convert CD audio data to MP3, you will be able to create smaller
files but this will be accompanied by a loss in audio quality.
