Speaker setup (Chicago IVDM-7003)
The Chicago IVDM-7003 can be set according to the playback
frequency ranges of the connected speakers. Before performing
the settings, check which speakers (except for the subwoofer)
can produce low frequencies.
Select the setting “LARGE” if the connected speaker can
produce low frequencies.
Select the setting “SMALL” if the connected speaker cannot
produce low frequencies.
Select the setting “NONE” or “NO” if no speaker is connected.

Select “FRONT” (front speaker), “REAR” (rear speaker),
“CENTER” (center speaker) or “SUB WOOFER” by
touching it.

Perform the setting by touching the desired speaker
setting.
Note: The settings for the front speaker do not feature
the entry “NONE” since all vehicles are equipped with
front speakers.

To confirm the setting, touch the
EXIT

button.

Repeat steps

to perform additional settings, or

Note: The audio signals for non-connected speakers
(setting “NONE” or “NO”) are added to the audio
signals of the connected speakers.
In the process, the audio signal of the center speaker
is evenly distributed to the left and right front speaker.
The audio signals of the rear speakers are added to
the front speakers.
The subwoofer signal is not distributed since the other
signals already contain bass.
