When the P option is included (for example,

), the Port Status screen lists the
password for each port, if defined (Supervisor mode only).

Provides more detailed information regarding the operational status of each port.
In User mode, this screen displays parameters only for the ports allowed by the
port password entered at login. For more information on the Port Diagnostics

When new versions of the Serial Port Manager operating firmware become
available, this command updates the existing firmware as described in
Chapter 10

This command functions only at the internal modem port (port 8) and at
setup ports 1 and 2.

Response: The Serial Port Manager displays a menu that offers the options to
retain existing Serial Port Manager parameters, default parameters, or abort the
upgrade procedure.
