When you choose option 2 from the Management Tools menu, you’ll be prompted
to enter a channel address (the default address in brackets will be the address of
the Management Card itself):
Display Flash ROM status
Channel address [1-F]:
Enter a remote address or leave the field blank for the local channel (that is, for
the Management Card). The firmware type and current firmware-revision level of
the selected Card—which can be any type of ServSwitch Multi Card—will be
displayed as shown below.

The “Pos” column shows which “slot” in the Card’s memory a firmware program is
stored in: Management Cards have nine of these, numbered 1 through 9; all other
Cards have only one, numbered 1. The “Flash Type” indicates what type of Card
the program is designed for—see Note 2 on the previous page for explanations of
what these abbreviations mean—or says “Available” if the slot is empty. The
“FW Rev” column indicates the revision level of the program, or says “–NA–” if (as
is the case with the Management Card/XPIB firmware in slot one) the firmware
can’t be transmitted to any other Card.
