The Alert Message Window lists any failed or unauthorized command and, for
user-station connections, turns the window red to alert administrators to the
message. Pressing the space bar clears the alert by removing the red background.
The message itself remains on-screen until the window is full, then is replaced by
newer messages. The date, time, user name, channel, and unauthorized activity are
listed for each message.

When this window is active, you have two control options: Press [Space] (the

space bar) to clear an alert or [Tab] to make a different window active.
