
Time & Date Function
The time/date is what is displayed by default when the Audio Heart Rate Monitor is first
turned on. The day of the week, date, hour, minutes and second will be shown. The year
is selected for the purpose of automatic update of the date and the day of the week; it will
however not be shown on the display.
Setting the Time/Date Function
1. Press and hold the
Set
button, ‘SET HOLD’ will be displayed and then it will switch
back to the time date screen with the hour digits flashing.
2. Press the
Start/Lap/Hold Stop
button (to count-up) or the
Stop/Next
button (to
countdown) in order to set the hour digits.
3. When the hour digits are set, press the
Mode
button. The minutes digits will then flash.
Press the
Start/Lap/Hold Stop
button (to count up) or the
Stop/Next
button ( to
countdown) in order to set the minute digits.
4. Set seconds, month, day, year, and time mode (12H/24H) in the same manner using
steps 2 and 3.
5. When the time mode is selected, press the
Set
button to set the time and date. Note that
the day of the week is displayed at the top of the device and will be automatically set
according to the date and year selected.
Auto Report Function
When the auto report function is turned on, an automatic announcement of your heart
rate, how long you have been exercising, and the lap number will be given to you at
regular intervals when you are using the Exercise chronograph and timer (in the Exercise
function). You can choose the frequency for auto-announcement.
1. While you are in the Time/Date function, you can activate or de-activate the Auto
Report function by pressing and holding the
Start/Lap/Hold Stop
button. The display will
show ‘Auto Rep Hold.’ Either ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’ will be displayed right after.
2. Press the
Start/Lap/Hold Stop
button again to change the settings between ON and
OFF.
3. Press the
Mode
button to confirm your choice.
4. You will then be able to choose the time interval at which auto-announcement occurs.
0:03 means the audio unit will auto-announce every 3 minutes. Press the
Start/Lap/Hold
Stop
button to increase the time interval, or
Stop/Next
to decrease the time interval. The
intervals you may choose from varies from 3 minutes, 4 minutes, to 5, then 10 minutes,
and so forth.
5. Press the
Set
button to confirm your choice.
Audio Announce ment At Any Time
While in the Time & Date function, press the
Start/Lap/Hold Stop
button to hear time and
heart rate announcement at any time.
