
Exercise Function
To utilize all the features of the Audio Heart Rate Monitor, it is vital to input your user
profile data before you begin to monitor your exercise with this unit, otherwise the data
accumulated will not be meaningful. The amount of calories burnt will also be shown
after a lap if your personal data has been input in the Audio Heart Rate Monitor.
The Exercise Function lets you record the timing of your laps for up to 200 laps, and
heart rate records, calorie information, for each of these laps.
There are 4 different modes within the Exercise Function:
a.
User Set
– inputting personal data
b.
Zone Setting
– setting your 3 heart rate training zones
c.
Lap Chronograph (Stopwatch)
– with calories calculation and heart rate
measurement
d.
Time r
– counting down time, with heart rate measurement
A. User Set mode - Inputting your user profile

The User Set mode is where you can change or enter your personal settings for
o
Body Weight
o
Body Height
o
VO2max (oxygen intake)
o
Age
o
Gender
o
Preference for metric / imperial units of measurement
o
Turning on and off the Calorie measurement

From this data, your Body Mass Index (BMI) is calculated
1. First go to the Exercise function by pressing the
Mode
button until the words
“EXERCISE” appears on the display.
2. Then press the
Stop/Next
button until the word ‘USER SET’ is displayed.
3. Press the
Start/Lap/Hold Stop
button and the word ‘UNIT’ will be displayed with the
already selected body weight unit (K G or LB) flashing.
4. Press the
Start/Lap/Hold Stop
button again to select either KG or LB, then press the
Set
button to confirm your choice.
5. The display will flash body weight units
6. Select your body weight by pressing the
Start/Lap/Hold Stop
button (to count up) or
the
Stop/Next button
(to count down). By pressing and holding either button the units will
increase or decrease faster. You may choose between a body weight range of 20-200 kg
or 40-400 lb.
7. When you have selected your body weight, press the
Mode
button, the display will
switch to height units (cm or in)
8. Press the
Start/Lap/Hold Stop
button again to select either CM or IN, and then press
the
Set
button to confirm your choice.
9. The display will show the desired body height unit with the body height digits flashing.
