time at 5-second intervals from 30 seconds, and then every second from 10-0 seconds.
When time has run out for a particular segment, you will hear 3 rapid beeps. It will then

“Clearing Timer Data”
and
“Storing data”
on how to do this).
Zone Targets & Alarm
If Zone Target feature is turned on (as set in the Timer settings), as soon as the timer is
activated, the in- zone icon (if a target zone is selected) will be displayed at the lower left
corner of the device. The Audio Heart Rate Monitor will then begin to measure your
heart rate, indicated by the heart icon next to the in- zone icon.
The in- zone icon indicates whether your present heart rate is within your selected target
zone and helps you determine if you are training at the right intensity.
If the middle section flashes, this indicates that your heart rate is within the target zone
and your exercise intensity is correct.
If the
▲
upwards icon flashes, your heart rate is above the target zone.
If the
▼
downwards icon flashes, your heart rate is below the target zone, you will need
to adjust your exercise intensity so that your heart rate falls within the middle section
again.
You can change your zone targets in the Zone Setting function.
If you have selected to activate the zone alarm, then there will be 3 beeps every 4 seconds
if your heart rate is above the target zone. If your heart rate is below the target zone, there
will be a single alarm beep every 4 seconds.
No heart rate signal detected (---)
