Why Use A Heart Rate Monitor

Using a heart rate monitor will provide you with a reliable way to track your fitness
progress, by measuring how efficient your heart is working when you are exercising. It
also enables you to keep training at the right level of intensity, by giving you immediate
objective feedback on how hard you are working.

We strongly recommend that you start exercising slowly at a light intensity and gradually
increase the intensity of your exercise to raise your heart rate. This way you know you
are exercising safely. Your heart rate monitor is the perfect tool to help you do this.
