Positioning the Patient’s Feet
1.
Have the patient stand in a natural stance on the static platform. The Position Patient screen
displays the patient’s center of gravity as a dot (see Figure 4.5).
2.
Adjust the patient’s foot placement until the dot is on or close to the center axis.
3.
Using each of the four keypads, enter the patient’s left foot, left heel, right foot, and right
heel positions using the midline of the foot and the grid on the platform as reference
points.

Use Table 4.1 to estimate the foot placement based on the patient’s height.

Common Actions
•
Choose Training or Test mode from the Home screen (see Figure 2.1).

Locate the patient record. Specify the patient’s height, either an estimate or the actual
height (see Setting Up a Session).

Specify the characteristics of the training or test (Refer to Setting Up a Training Session
or Setting Up a Test Session).
