Make sure there is enough space around the router (for ventilation purposes) and check that the electricity cables
can comfortably reach it.
3.3.2 Wall mounting
The bintec RM3000 can be mounted on the wall. This optional kit can be ordered separately or together with the
bintec RM3000.
The anchors to mount the device on the wall must be installed as shown in the following figure, using the screws
provided by the manufacturer.

Once the anchors have been placed, you can place the device on the wall as shown in the upper right hand figure.
Warning
The screws must go into a wall stud (wood) or a wall anchor of the appropriate type for the wall. Screws
into drywall are not strong enough to support the router.
The above figures show the wall-mounting features on the bintec RM3000 router.

Place the two (or four) wall studs on the wall, or on any other vertical surface, horizontally and separately.
Warning
If you install the router in drywall, use hollow-wall anchors (8mm - 5/16 inch) to secure the screws.
If the screws are not properly anchored, the strain of the cables connected to the router back pan-
el could pull the router from the wall.
