9. INSTALLATION
Installation must be carried out according to the safety laws in force and the
instructions herein contained.
9.1 SETTING UP
CAUTION: Never forget to unscrew the wooden plates from the Lift, before
use.
No foundations are needed.
Always place the Lift on a plane surface. The surface must be able to carry a
minimum weight of 500 kg / m².
The Motorcycle Lift must be placed in the proper position to allow Technicians
to work easily and safely.
Keep the Motorcycle Lift at the minimum safety distance from walls or other
equipment during operation.
The run-up ramp must allows to load the bike easily.
Never place the run-up ramp near things that might interfere with normal
loading or unloading of the bike.
CAUTION: Never place the Lift on uneven or sloping surfaces.
Always take the Motorcycle Lift to the setting-up area by using a fork-lift.
Always unpack the Motorcycle Lift in the setting-up area.
