Connecting and Switching On the Device
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Unwind the connecting cable fully before connecting up the device.
■
Only connect the device to a plug socket that is properly installed. The plug socket
must also be readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains
can quickly be isolated. The mains voltage must match the rating plate of the device.
■
Do not move the device during operation.
1. Check the position of the On / O
ff
switch (

) before the device is connected to a plug
socket. It must be tilted to the
0
position. Make sure that the pressure regulator (

) is
at its limit stop in the
– (Minus) position
and the tap handle (

) is vertical (

2. Insert the mains plug into an easily accessible plug socket.

switch to position

to switch on the device. The cooling is activated.
The preset target temperature lights up brie
fl
y on the display. After this, the current
temperature of the beer is displayed.
Use
After the device is switched on, the device starts to cool the beer down to the target tem-
perature. The target temperature of the device which was set most recently is activated.
Pressing the
+
button (

fl
y will show the target temperature on the display (

). If no
buttons are pressed for approx. 8 seconds, the display reverts back to the actual beer
temperature.
PLEASE NOTE:
To preserve the quality of the beer, a beer keg or fresh keg which is
connected must always be kept cool, i. e. the device must remain switched on. Leave a
beer keg which has been pierced connected to the device for no more than a week.
Setting the Beer Temperature
The target temperature of the beer can be set in two di
ff
erent ways:
• select a preprogrammed temperature
• set the temperature you want manually
The temperature range available to choose from is between 2 °C and 12 °C (or 36 °F
and 54 °F).
The temperature can be displayed both in
°C
and in
°F
. To switch between the two
displays, hold down the
+
button (

) for a few seconds.
