NOTICE:
No CO
2
cartridge is required for fresh kegs because they are already provided
with the right amount of CO
2
.
16 g CO
2
cartridges are required to draw beer. One cartridge is generally su
ffi
cient for
one beer keg. More CO
2
cartridges can be ordered via our website:
www.dspro.de/kundenservice
1. Make sure that the pressure regulator (
15
) is at its limit stop in the
– (Minus) posi-
tion,
the tap handle (
2
) is vertical (
Picture H
) and the device is switched o
ff
(switch
position
0
).
2. If a CO
2
cartridge (
26
) has already been inserted, make sure that it has been com-
pletely emptied (see the “After Use” chapter – “Emptying the Beer Keg and CO
2
Cartridge”).
3. Fold out and unscrew the cartridge sleeve (
16
) on the inside of the lid (
14
) (
Picture J
).
4. Insert a CO
2
cartridge into the cartridge sleeve. Remove the used one beforehand if
necessary.
5. Screw the cartridge sleeve with the inserted CO
2
cartridge onto the mount in the lid
(

).
PLEASE NOTE:
Make sure that the cartridge sleeve has been fully tight-
ened so that no CO
2
can escape! The gas can now
fl
ow towards the keg.
6. Fold the cartridge sleeve into the lid.
7. Close the lid until it engages with an audible click.
8. Turn the pressure regulator for approx. 5 seconds as far as the limit stop to the
+ (Plus) position
(
Picture L
) and then turn it back to the
–
(Minus) position.
PLEASE
NOTE:
The pressure does not change immediately, but is gradually adjusted.
9. Connect and switch on the device (see the “Connecting and Switching On the
Device” section). Now allow the beer keg to rest for at least an hour so that the CO
2
can spread around evenly and excessive frothing is avoided when you draw the beer.
Connecting a Fresh Keg
As fresh kegs already contain the correct amount of CO
2
, no CO
2
cartridge is required.
In this case, the pressure regulator (
15
) is deactivated.
1. Make sure that the device is switched o
ff
(switch position
0
).
2. Open the lid (
14
) by pressing the release button (
1
).
3. Clamp the CO
2
line into the mount next to the cartridge sleeve (
16
) (
Picture M
).
4. Insert the fresh keg into the cooling container (
11
).
PLEASE NOTE:
The valve with
the release button on the fresh keg adapter (
25
) must be directed forwards towards
the tap.
5. Press the fresh keg down
fi
rmly on the suction pad on the bottom of the cooling
container.
6. Connect the adapter of the beer line (
18
) to the fresh keg adapter (
Picture N
).
7. Close the lid until it engages with an audible click.
8. Connect and switch on the device (see the “Connecting and Switching On the Device”
section).
