Speed selection
Example:
Determine the working speed for tungsten carbide milling
cutter with a cut diameter of 10 mm at a selected cutting
speed of v = 900 m/min.
Draw a vertical line from cut diameter 10 mm to the
intersection with the characteristic curve v = 900 m/min
(indicated by a circle).
Starting from this intersection, a horizontal line to the
vertical axis on the speed scale indicates the speed
required is approx. 28,600 rpm.
Attention!
The speed can also vary in the event of
voltage fluctuations!
Adjust speed
Risk of injury!
Before adjusting the speed, hold the
handpiece with clamped tool firmly in
your hand!
The required speed can be set both while the machine is
in operation as well as when it has been switched off using
the control knob (1) (see Fig. 9 and Fig. 10).
Attention!
Do not run MB 20/2 at controller stage 1
because of heating too strongly!
