INSTRUCTION
Loosening screw connection
1. Connect ratchet with air pressure system
2. Fit suitable socket onto the square drive.
3. Adjust switch on ratchet head to desired rotational direction (for most screws = counter clockwise)
.
4. Put ratchet with bit onto the screw and start loosening the connection by twisting the ratchet
counter clockwise MANUALLY! As soon as the screw has been loosened a bit, you can push
down the trigger lever and drive the screw out with air pressure support.
Tightening screw connection
1. Connect ratchet with air pressure system
2. Fit suitable socket onto the square drive.
3. Adjust switch on ratchet head to desired rotational direction (for most screws = clockwise).
4. Put in the screw by hand and screw it in 2 or 3 turns manually.
5. Put ratchet with bit onto the screw and push down the trigger lever to screw in the screw with air
pressure support.
CAUTION
: Wear safety gloves and hold the ratchet firmly. The ratchet will build
up a strong torque against its rotational direction as soon as the screw has reached its dead stop.
Risk of injury caused by negligence.
CAUTION:
Check all screw connections with a torque wrench afterwards.
AIR SUPPLY
Clean and correct air pressure supply is essential for this tool. The max air pressure for this ratchet is
6.3 bar, which is the recommended limit for most air tools of this range. Check the “specifications”
section for further details. In case of decreasing air pressure caused by long hoses or other factors,
raise the air pressure accordingly to guarantee the recommended working air pressure of 6.3bar.
Water in hose or compressor will reduce the air tools efficiency and damage it in the end. Therefore,
drain the air pressure system before each use. If the provided air pressure exceeds the
recommended limit of 6.3 bar, you will need to install a pressure regulator and gauge.
LUBRICATION & MAINTENANCE
Warning!
Lubricate your air ratchet before each use with 4 to 5 drops of air tool oil. It is ok to pour the oil into
the air inlet of the ratchet. Only connect your ratchet with air supplies that produce an appropriate air
pressure and provide a sufficient capacity (L/min) for this tool.
Drain the air pressure system before each use.
Water in air hoses will eventually damage your air tool and is a main cause for decreasing efficiency.
Clean respectively replace the air filter of your compressor in recommended intervals.
