Assembly Instructions
We strive to make our equipment as
reliable and long-lived as possible.
To this end, we have revised the con-
nection hardware between the HC0109
gun and the trigger hose to provide
longer service and better reliability.
While the quick-connect hardware was
convenient, there was a potential for
winding up the RCA trigger cable and
forcing it to disconnect.
The revised connection relies on several
methods to make the connection tight
and remain rigidly fastened. Please fol-
low assembly steps carefully.
The new Gun has a 1/2” F-NPT PVC air
connection. This mates with a 1/2” M-
NPT metal barbed fitting on the hose.
The metal barb is fastened with hose
clamps. The entire coupling is protected
with a rubber tube. The PVC fitting is
positively locked to the metal fitting by
a set screw.

Safety Precautions
•
DO NOT
alter or remove labels.
•
DO NOT
place objects in the barrel
outlet.
•
DO NOT
point at face.
•
DO NOT
get components wet.
•
DO NOT
connect to devices supplying
power to the RCA plug.
Assembly Steps
1. Carefully thread the hose fitting on
to the PVC gun fitting. DO NOT
CROSS-THREAD! Tighten first by
hand, then, using the slip-joint pli-
ers, firmly seat the metal fitting
against the rubber gasket in the
PVC fitting until it will turn no fur-
ther.
2. Tighten the 10-32 Allen set screw
against the threads of the metal
fitting with the Allen wrench. Be
firm, but do not over tighten! The
gun and hose should now be rigidly
connected. If there is movement of
the barb in the hose , tighten the
hose clamps further.
3. Extend the rubber protective hose
over the metal and PVC joint.
4. Open up the loop in the RCA retain-
ing band on the hose end RCA cable.
Slip this over the gun RCA connec-
tor and plug the cables together.
This will improve the retention of
the RCA connectors during use.
Tuck any excess cable inside the
protective rubber tubing at the
open end.
