Connection
Connect the DAN In input of the first interpreter station to the DAN connection of the SIS control unit. Connect the DAN Out
output of the first interpreter station to the DAN In input of the second interpreter station and so on. Use e.g. the CA 3110 cable
(10 metres long) to connect the first interpreter station to the SIS control unit. To connect the interpreter stations to one another use
e.g. the CA 3105 cable (5 metres long). Connect the DT 394.SIS headset to the interpreter stations for instance.
For the speaker connect a microphone to the Original In input of the SIS 121 control unit. If you use a condenser microphone, a
pre-amplifier or mixing console with phantom power is needed.
If more listeners are to listen to the discussion without taking part (e.g. press), the FE 316 tourguide receivers with headphones and the
stationary CT 316 transmitters can be used. Connect the input (In) of a stationary CT 316 transmitter to the output of the SIS control
unit and for each foreign language connect one stationary CT 316 transmitter to the appropriate outputs of the SIS control unit. As a
standard one original language and a maximum of 3 foreign languages can be connected. If the SIS control unit is equipped with two
other plug-in modules each with 4 connections, one original language and a maximum of 11 foreign languages can be connected.
Connect the outputs of the CT 316 transmitters to the inputs of the AD 808 combiner. Connect the antenna e.g. AT 70 to the combiner
by using the AVK 800/100 cable.
