How to switch on the Microphone
The microphone has to be switched on for the
participants of the meeting to be able to listen to the
translation of the interpreter.
• Press the “Talk” button . The appropriate LED will
illuminate green.
• At the same time the red “On Air” LED will
illuminate.
• The “Talk” button features a toggle function, i.e. if the
“Talk” button of the right hand side is pressed, when
the microphone of the left hand side is switched on, the
microphone is switched off and vice versa.
IMPORTANT:
• It is not possible that two interpreters speak the same language simultaneously. In this case the microphone cannot be switched on.
The LED of the “Talk” button will illuminate red and then go out.
How to mute the Microphone
• In order to mute the microphone, press the “Mute” button and hold it down.
The “On Air” LED goes out.
• In order to release the microphone again, stop pressing the “Mute” button .
The “On Air” LED will illuminate again.

How to listen to the Original Language
• If the interpreter wants to interpret from the original language, he/she must press the “Original”
button to listen to the original language via headphones.
• The green LED of the “Original” button will illuminate.
How to listen to the Relay Language
If the interpreter wants to interpret from a relay language,
it has to be selected before as described under “How to
set the Relay Language”.
• To listen to the relay language, the appropriate relay
buttons and must be selected.
• The green LED of the “Relay” button will
illuminate.
IMPORTANT:
• If the selected relay language is not spoken, the
signal of the original language is switched through
automatically.
