ON COMPLETION OF THE W OR K
H avin g f inished the job and be f ore any type o f maintenance is done, proceed as f ollows:
1 . C lose the cock (1)
2 . P ush the brushes base switch (2) into the UP position, until the maximum UP
position is reached

3 . P osition the switch o f squee g ee up/down (1) into the central position, so that the
suction motor keeps on workin g to empty the suction hose f or about 20 seconds,
then put it into the UP position .
4. B rin g the machine up to the place provided f or the water outlet
5. T urn the g eneral key switch (2) 1/ 4 round counterclockwise

6. T ake o ff the exhaust pipe f rom its hook, unscrew the exhaust plu g and empty the
recovery tank . T o simpli f y drainin g operation, it is recommended to hold with one
hand the hose upwards more than the water level inside the tank is and with the
other hand unscrew the knob and take o
ff the plu g. S lowly lower the hose and the
liquid will start drainin g at the desired speed .

7 . T he squee g ee has to be li f ted when the machine is not operatin g. I n this way dama g e
to the squee g ee rubbers is avoided .
8 . T ake o ff the brushes and clean them with a water jet ( f or the brushes disassembly
please read f urther on under “ DISASSEMBLY OF THE BRUSHES ”) .
9 . R emove the hopper unit (i f washin g /sweepin g unit is bein g used) to empty debris,
then clean out care f ully .
