Clamp the spring removal jaw

0100043 000) and apply the spring removal
tool onto it

(code 006140030 000).
Insert the valve stem in the valve guide*
from the combustion chamber side.
Place the valve in the specific lower housing
of the jaw and introduce:

The spring

, being careful to insert it so
that the segment with the smaller pitch
faces downwards;
•
The upper cup

, turning the flatter part
upwards.
Compress the spring as much as necessary
to extract the two half-cones

. To facilita-
te their insertion, apply a small amount of
grease on the stem in the half-cone housing
zone.

replaced, the valves must be put back in their original po-
sitions.
