TORQUE REACTION
When the tool is in operation, the reaction foot rotates in the opposite direction to the output
square drive and must be allowed to rest squarely against a solid object or surface adjacent
to the bolt to be tightened (see Figure 2).

MAKE SURE THAT THE REACTION FOOT IS ONLY USED WITHIN SUCH LIMITS
AS SHOWN IN FIGURE 3.
For special applications or if extremely deep sockets are used, the standard arm can be
extended, provided that such limits as shown in Figure 3 are kept to.
FAILURE TO KEEP TO SUCH LIMITS AS SHOWN IN FIGURE 3 MAY CAU-
SE EARLY WEAR OR DAMAGE TO THE OUTPUT DRIVE OF THE TOR-
QUE MULTIPLIER.
