Download :
To download new applications, eBook from PC or from CyberDict
Technology website, and then transfer them to your CyberDict 8.
A. Click
[Communication]

[Download] on the tool bar.
B. Click [Dir Tree] to select a directory contains the downloaded titles.
C. Click [Position: The Unit] to select the final destination of downloaded
titles, either saved in the unit or in the Card. (Note: The Card (SMC) is an
optional accessory.) The files of the unit or the card will be displayed
here.
D. Click again on the highlighted title to send it to the unit.
E. Click right button on the mouse, a list of view mode “Large Icon, Small
Icon, List and Details will be displayed. You can also select “Download
Titles” to send the title(s) to the unit; or click “Preview e-Book” if it is an
e-Book.
F. You can also double click on the title to send it to the unit.
G. Highlighted a title, you can preview the file information in “File Preview”.

Backup:
This function enables you to backup the personal data inside the unit into
your computer. If you encounter any data loss from the unit, you can use the
backup copy and restore them into the unit.
A. Click
[Communication]

[Backup] on the tool bar.
B. Give a file name (the file type is *.PBK) to the backup file on the dialogue
box, and then click [SAVE].

Restore:
If you had already backup the personal data, in case you lost the data
resulted from resetting the unit carelessly, this function will help you to recover your
data from the backup file.
A. Click
[Communication]

[Backup] on the tool bar.
B. Reset the unit and clear all user data, click [Y].
C. Select the backup file you saved (*.PBK), and then click “Open”
