Install the retaining plate
ASSEMBLY
Insert the 1/4’’ x 1/2’’ hex bolts (item 1) in the holes
as shown.
Install the retaining plate (item 2) under the chute as
shown.
Secure in place with the 1/4’’ nylon insert lock nuts as
shown.
Choose one of the three following options as a
means of fastening the subframe.
O
PTION
A:
Install the lift strap
(item 1)
by making a loop around
the front suspension arm of the vehicle.
Tighten the loop firmly.
O
PTION
B:
Remove the nut and bolt from the vehicle’s front
suspension arm. Secure the bracket
(item 3)
with a
bolt, flat washer and nut
(item 2)
.
Do not tighten the nut too firmly.
O
PTION
C:
Remove the nut and bolt from the vehicle’s front
suspension arm. Secure the bracket
(item 4)
with a
bolt, flat washer and nut
(item 2)
.
Do not tighten the nut too firmly.
NOTE:
Repeat the operation on the other side of
vehicle.
VEHICLE PREPARATION:
Install the lift strap or the brackets.
