The user is able to adjust the tint control, when NTSC 3.58 or NTSC 4.43 has been identified.
(7) Phase
In component 2H and PC modes only, the user is able to adjust the Phase. The effect is to align the
video transients of the source to the pixel pitch of the LCD panel, in order to offer the best possible
picture.
(8) Vertical & Horizontal Position
In PC mode, the user can adjust the vertical & horizontal picture position.
(10) Format Control
The display mode of the TV can be selected by the user to display a 4/3,Zoom 14/9,Zoom 16/9 up
& down, Zoom 16/9,16/9, cinema mode. This switching is controlled either by the user or
automatically by pin 8 detection, or WSS signal.

3.9.3 Audio Features :
(1) Main Volume
The user can adjust the volume of the sound reproduced by the loudspeakers of the set, according to
a pre-defined curve.
(2) Mute Sound Control
By pressing the mute key, the sound from the loudspeakers is muted. On source change and if the
screen source from tuner is without a valid video signal, a ‘soft’ mute is automatically used to avoid
‘plop’ noise. This ‘soft’ mute is done on the loudspeakers and AV’s audio outputs without any user
control and feedback.
(3) Balance Setting
The user can adjust the relative volume of left and right loudspeakers.
(4) NICAM sound :

(5) Equalizer setting
5 equalizers are used.
(6) Dolby select
Virtual Dolby Surround is used
