automatically via VPS, PDC package extraction, or package extraction from teletext signals during
manual or auto-installation. In addition, the user can manually enter the station name.
If the system does not find any station name during auto-installation and if the user does not enter a
name manually, the station name remains blank by default. See the auto-installation specification for
details.
(8) Station Organiser
This allows the user, to change the order in which the stations are allocated to a program number, to
delete them or to change the name of any station.
(9) Decoder Selection
In manual installation, the user has the option to select for each RF Program if there is a
Decoder/Descrambler connected to SCART. When the decoder option is selected, the tuner receives the
program but the SCART is displayed if the pin8 is high.
If the user presses the info key (see UIRS) then the RF program number and name will be displayed. If
the user presses PR+ or PR- the TV switches to the adjacent RF programs.
(10) Auto sorting
At the end of auto-installation, the TV will sort the found stations in the favorite order of the selected
country. The order for the programs are fixed and listed in ROM. The list per country is limited and
described in the auto-installation specification.
The stations will be stored according to a predefined table whenever the channel information is transmitted. This feature is not active in manual
installation or auto-update.
