Using your Joybook Lite on Windows XP

Using 3G (available on selected models)
An alternative way available on your Joybook Lite to connect to
the networks is using 3G. Your Joybook Lite supports data
transfer in networks that use cellular network technologies such
as 3G or HSPA.
To connect to the networks using 3G or HSPA technologies, you
must get a SIM card that supports high-speed data transmission
in either a 3G or a 3.5G network from a mobile network
operator. For details on configuration, please contact your
Internet service provider (ISP), which is also your SIM card
provider.
To activate the programs that require network connectivity, you
need to be within range of a network of the type supported by
your device/SIM.
Inserting the SIM card
1. Shut down your Joybook Lite completely. Disconnect the
power adapter and turn over your Joybook Lite.
2. Slide "Battery retainer A" to the unlock
position.
3. Slide "Battery retainer B" to the unlock
position (1) and,
while still holding the retainer, pull the battery away from its
compartment (2).
