The XIP-3901 has an integrated frame sync that supports synchronous and asynchronous SDI input signals. The
input signals will be synchronized and realigned to either the URS or External Reference.
The frame sync behaves like a frame buffer. It also supports frame skips/repeats in the case of an asynchronous
SDI input. When an input error occurs, it freezes to the last valid field/frame.
