5.4 Gateway Status panel
The table reports the status of all gateways on the card.
•
When the TICO option is active, two new gateways
are added to the standard 11 gateways. See
Seven columns report on each active gateway:
•
St
– The status icon is green (OK) if the status of
both the SDI I/O and Stream Address columns is OK
(see the notes on color coding below); otherwise it will
be red (error condition) or gray (gateway unused)
•
SDI I/O
– The background color shows the status –
see below.
•
Dir
– the arrow shows the direction of signal flow
through the gateway.
•
Stream Address
– the IP address (source or
destination, depending on the direction of signal flow)
of the stream (unicast or multicast). The background
color shows the status – see below.
•
Stream Port
– the port used with the stream address.
•
P. ETH
– indicates which ports are selected for the
current function – both when the IP is the destination;
only the active one when IP is the gateway input.
•
Format
– shows the specific format of the signal, or
“no signal”
The status of the IP stream is shown by the background color of the Stream IP Address column. This is the same as
the
in the Gateway Config panel – Gateways tab .
The status of the SDI I/O is shown by the background color of the SDI I/O column. This is the same as the
in the Gateway Config panel – Gateways tab.
5.5 TICO Panel
The IPG-3901 incorporates two TICO gateways, which can be configured as encoders and decoders according to the
TICO Model
chart below.
NOTE: The IPG-3901-OPT-TICO option must be activated before you can use the TICO gateways.
Learn how to
If the option is not activated, this panel will be greyed out and not available, and the TICO
gateways will not be shown in the gateway configuration and status panels.
Once the TICO option is active, three different models are available to select.
•
Each model includes 11 regular gateways and 2 new gateways for TICO processing.
•
Each TICO encoder or decoder uses 4 SDI I/O for its inputs or outputs, so these will be reserved and not
available as a regular gateway.
